I am a stage three teacher from Roseville College Sydney. I currently teach a year 5 class with 25 students in it. I am passionate about integrating technology into my students’ lives. My students connect and collaborate with other students around the world. We use blogs, wikis, voicethread and edmodo to name but a few; to meet with, network with and learn from others. They share their learning at http://year5rc.edublogs.org.
Within my school I hold regular techie brekkie sessions to teach other staff how to introduce and use technology into their classrooms. I blog about these sessions at http://www.techiebrekkie.net. I was also the organiser of the first Sydney TeachMeet which was held in April this year. A further two TeachMeets have since been held and more are planned for later this year.
